Hanley Residents: Got old IT Equipment? Win a chance to Experience Africa!
Computers 4 Africa would like to invite to donate your unwanted PCs, laptops and any other working IT Equipment. Your donated IT equipment will be sent to school children across Africa and will be used to teach them vital skills which they would not otherwise have the opportunity to acquire. On the 18th & 19th August, 2009, Computers 4 Africa will be holding an appeal at Focus, Leek New Road, Hanley, ST6 2LA (see website for more details). You are welcome to drop in and donate your unwanted PC’s, laptops, notebooks, monitors, etc that are less than 5 years old and that are in working condition.
Until 19th September, 2009, donors will be given the opportunity to enter in the Computer’s 4 Africa Holiday Draw brought to you by Computers 4 Africa and The Gambia Experience. The winner and (1) one guest will be swept away to the sandy beaches of The Gambia, West Africa. This Holiday Experience will include airfare, accommodation for (7) seven days, and a chance to visit a school in the Gambia. To find out more information on how to enter the Computers 4 Africa Holiday Draw, log on to www.computers4africa.org.uk. For more information about The Gambia Experience visit www.gambia.co.uk.
Computers 4 Africa’s desire is to see children in Africa reach their full potential. Although we know that computer lessons are not the only way to educate a child, IT education is a useful tool that provides a child with the opportunity to develop a skill that can transform his or her life and the lives of their future families.
As a result of your efforts, children in need will not only be cared for, but empowered.
