Hays Education works on behalf of Stafforshire County Council as the Preferred Supplier for Education Staffing.  We therefore have  a high volume of work for Cover Supervisors across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.

Main Duties will include:



Supervising whole classes or large groups.

Managing pupil behaviour.

Responding to pupil's questions.

Assist pupils to undertake set activities as appropriate.

Reporting to senior management as appropriate.

Adhere to school behavioural management procedures.

Work within childcare protection legislation

You will be working Monday-Friday 8.30-3.30 but part-time hours are also available



It is essential that suitable candidate:



Will have proven behaviour/classroom management experience and skills.

Will have experience of working with 11 - 18 year olds.

Will be degree educated or equivalent.

Will be confident to stand in front of the class and deliver pre set work.

Have a good understanding of national curriculum and ability to think on their feet.

It would be an advantage to have an area of specialism in core or non-core curriculum subject and excellent ICT skills
