The Blue Cross animal welfare charity is seeking volunteers to give talks to children in primary schools and youth groups about responsible pet ownership.
Full training given and expenses paid. A enhanced CRB check will be carried out on every applicant. Volunteers will need to be confident with children and have experience of caring for pets. Volunteers with suitable dogs may be able to take them on the visit subject to a temperament test.
