SENIOR DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER- STOKE ON TRENT

We are currently looking for a Senior Developer/Programmer to join an ever expanding team, based within a large organisation in Staffordshire. Within this leading software house, you will be joining the development team and be responsible for the delivery of all software in accordance with previously developed requirements and design documentation, on time and to specification. You will be expected to oversee the complete software development lifecycle and be responsible for the production of status reports and for the preparation of build status reports. Alongside this, the successful senior developer will also be required to create and deliver personal performance and personal development plans and plan and deliver functional and technical training workshops to ensure the development staff continue to improve and add value to the overall process.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have:

a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle
a demonstrable track record in software management
commercial experience of Microsoft Technologies, including VB and/or C#.NET
the ability to use SQL Server competently
the ability to communicate on all levels to both technical and non technical people

Experience of managing your own workload and that of others would be desirable, but not strictly essential.
