This Specialist Sports College in Rugeley is looking for an Art teacher to cover a maternity contract starting in July 2008. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Art teacher, experienced or newly qualified, to join this supportive department.

Role includes:
Ensuring the curriculum is developed in order to meet the needs of students to KS3 and KS4. KS5 would also be beneficial but not essential
Monitoring work, lesson observation and target settings
Ensuring the school's behaviour management policies are being used in a correct and effective manner
Commitment to learning and development of pupils
Excellent subject knowledge
Strong behaviour management skills


Essential skills must include:
* PGCE/Cert Ed
* Must be eligible to work within the UK
* Excellent classroom control
* Commitment to learning & Development of pupils
* Must be able to provide us with recent, relevant references
* Some knowledge of Interactive Whiteboard and ICT would be useful but not essential
